Birthday Wishes to Band Photographer

The Belvoir Big Band would like to wish a very happy birthday to Mat Douglas, who spent his birthday

helping us with our big annual concert at Long Clawson. Band supporters will have to forgive the unrelated photo, the writer of this blog had to dig deep through his photo files to find such a choice image. Despite being an awful golfer Mat has proven to be an excellent photographer and videographer of the band and a most valued band supporter.

Increasingly over the last three years Mat has supported band concerts and taken on the role of multi-media director. At our recent performance at the Belton Horse Trials he created some particularly nicely edited videos for us and is responsible for the new video on the homepage. The whole band appreciated him choosing to join us once again last Saturday, this time on his birthday, to help us record our performance. Being the trooper that he is Mat also mucked in with all the setting up carrying tables and chairs to-and-fro and helping with the huge job of tidying away the stage extension.

Many happy returns for your birthday Mat and a big thank you for all your ongoing support from everyone at the BBB.
